- Dragon Ageless by Josie Jaffrey

- Sir Percivale Is Swallowed by a Dragon and Learns the Truth of God by Arden Powell

- A Really Very True Story by Molly Daw

- Girl in Darkness by Riley E. Smith

- A Beloved Once Bound by Ceril N. Domace

- An Angel of the Lord by Ash Parker

- Queen of Nerves by Claire Olivia Golden

In these pages, you’ll find dragons who are friendly and those who must be slain, and darkness in all forms, whether literal, magical, supernatural, or spiritual. There are angels and monsters, families and nemeses, stories that will make you laugh and stories that will make you think.

This is – as the title might imply – perhaps not our cosiest issue, but we hope that, with so many different takes on the themes from our authors, there will be something for all tastes.

On top of all that, we also have an interview with fantastic indie author Heather K. Carson.

So let’s get dark. There’s plenty here to sink your teeth into.

About our featured author

Author Ceril N Domace

Heather K. Carson is the mother of two feral little boys by day and published author by night. When she isn’t working on a new book or refereeing a wrestling match, she’s covered in mud from playing in the garden or dancing around the kitchen and whipping up enough food to feed the monsters she created.

In her paranormal romance books, you'll find world building twists, lovable side characters, beastly males, and strong female leads who like to shake things up.

Heather currently resides in the Pacific Northwest and spends whatever free time she gets by running away to the mountains with her equally exhausted husband and the best chocolate lab in the whole world.
